Ken Arnold

Biography

Ken Arnold is President of HTE, where he provides consulting services for the technology, biomedical, and defense industries involved in the design and application of a wide range of technologies to real world problems.  Ken has founded and directed technology start-ups based in San Diego as well as teaching electrical and computer engineering courses at UCSD and SDSU.  He holds several patents and is the author of several books on embedded systems.  Ken was a lecturer in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at SDSU from 2010 to 2025. Currently he is a guest lecturer and sponsor of senior design capstone projects at SDSU. He was the founder, program coordinator, and instructor for the Embedded Systems Engineering certificate program offered by UCSD Extended Studies.
