Jerry Aguirre

Biography

Dr. Jerry Aguirre is an electrical engineer with more than 30 years of experience in RF, microwave systems, and electronic packaging across industry, national laboratories, and academia. He currently serves as a Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering at San Diego State University, where he teaches circuits and has developed student projects in RF systems, signal integrity, and power integrity. Prior to joining SDSU, he held engineering leadership roles at Cubic Corporation and spent nearly 20 years at Kyocera as a technical staff member developing advanced RF packaging, phased-array antennas, and high-frequency interconnect technologies for aerospace, radar, satellite, and telecommunications applications. Dr. Aguirre holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
